The VKTR Industries VK-1 Complete Upper solves this with a patented piston system that delivers all the benefits of piston operation while maintaining the footprint and weight of a direct impingement setup.
Engineered with optimized gas port sizing, an improved gas seal, and a staged gas bleed system, the VK-1 reduces operating rod inertia for a flatter-shooting, lighter, and cleaner-running system than typical DI or piston ARs. The barrel is thermal-fit to the upper receiver, minimizing heat-induced point-of-impact shift and maximizing accuracy.
A low-profile M-LOK handguard provides versatility for attaching lights, grips, and other accessories. The 13.7" barrel is paired with a pinned and welded HUXWRX QD flash hider, bringing the total length to just over 16".
