Precision machined in 4140 and black nitride coated, OPF-SW, ACRO is the latest collaboration between Tangodown and Forward Controls. Continuing the tradition of reliable duty grade, precision machined steel optics interface plates in both companies' line up, OPF-SW, ACRO is made for Smith & Wesson M&P CORE 2.0 pistols. Tight tolerances reduce the plate's movement on the slide, and the sight's movement on the plate, but that alone sometimes isn't enough. For older sights like RMR that have fairly loose tolerances, the fences on the plate are designed to cradle it and hold it immobile.
