The Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Flash Hider reduces the flash signature of the shot when the silencer is not installed. Timing the Flash Hider could not be easier. Once the silencer mount is attached to the barrel, the Flash Hider is added with the provided crush washer. Simply turn the Flash Hider on the crush washer until the ports are timed in the desired orientation. The 5.56 flash hider assembly is available in 1/2-28 threads, and the 7.62 is available in 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 threads. Mfg: Sig Sauer, Inc.
