The Alpine MDT rifle from Weatherby builds upon their latest bolt action platform, the model 307, designed to complement the esteemed Mark V and Vanguard lineups. This 2-lug, fully cylindrical action is compatible with a wide array of aftermarket accessories, ensuring versatility in customization. Teaming up with MDT, Weatherby crafted an ultra-light chassis rifle tailored for both range dominance and field performance. Constructed from carbon fiber, the chassis features a foldable buttstock, reducing overall length by over 9 inches when collapsed, a boon for compact portability. The model 307 action incorporates a tool-less bolt disassembly for easy field maintenance, equipped with an M16-style extractor for reliable ejection. Enhancing usability, the Alpine MDT includes an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail.
